- Rapid compensation of mineral losses
- For heavy sweat losses due to high temperatures
- High acceptance, water soluble
Water-soluble electrolytes serve as a mineral balance when you lose a lot of sweat, for example in high-performance sports or during transport. Horses achieve cooling of their body primarily through increased perspiration. Not only water but also electrolytes are lost. This loss often manifests itself in the form of poor performance, muscle problems such as tying up and lactic acid build-up in the muscles. Hot temperatures and increased physical activity increase the loss of electrolytes. The regular supplementation of electrolytes ensures a balanced mineral content of the horse even during high exertion and warm temperatures.
Offer approx. 3-6 g per 100 kg body weight per day mixed with the crib feed. For the oral syringe, dissolve in 200 ml of water.
The recommended feeding time is one to three days after heavy sweating. Offer water for free intake.
Water must be available for at least 20 minutes or preferably for one hour after administration. Please make sure you drink enough fluids. In case of insufficient water intake, please consult a veterinarian.
1 measuring spoon corresponds to approx. 15 g
information This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 6.6% of the daily ration (incl. hay) because of the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed. Please follow the feeding recommendations.
