Product information:Ā
Hooves are the foundation of the horse and carry it throughout life.Ā Cracks, grooves, poor consistency and disturbed growth indicate a lack of specific nutrients, which must be compensated for with an adapted feeding.Ā Taking into account the latest findings in nutritional science, Ungulat, with its effective nutrient composition, offers a viable nutritional concept to promote robust and resilient hooves – even in difficult cases.
⢠Rich in keratin-forming amino acids
⢠Contains nucleotides (functional cell building blocks)
⢠Highly bioavailable trace elements
⢠Special composition of herbs
BETTER HORN GROWTH
The hoof horn mainly consists of the structural protein keratin, which in turn has a characteristic amino acid pattern.Ā A lack of the amino acids methionine, cysteine, lysine, proline and glycine is compensated with Ungulat either directly or via natural protein sources such as brewer’s yeast, oilseeds, spirulina algae and herbs.
IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF THE HOOF
Minerals such as zinc, manganese, copper, iron, organic sulfur compounds, silicon and calcium are important structural components that strengthen the hoof horn.Ā In Ungulat, these nutrients are present in optimized proportions and, to ensure bioavailability, predominantly in natural forms.Ā In addition, cold-pressed linseed oil provides unsaturated fatty acids.Ā They are of great importance for the flexibility and elasticity of the hoof horn.Ā Functional cell building blocks (nucleotides) also ensure an optimized cell division rate and an improved horn structure.
BETTER NUTRIENT ABSORPTION
Ungulat supplies enzyme-rich cereal germs, garlic, brewer’s yeast, linseed, millet, chamomile, vitamin A and the trace element cobalt to promote and protect digestion and thus improve the body’s own biotin production.
SUBSTANCE TRANSPORT INTO THE HOOF
Only a hoof corium with a good blood supply ensures the substance transport into the hoof complex.Ā Ungulat contains garlic, unsaturated fatty acids, grape seed flour and other vascular protection factors.Ā These nutrients contribute to the maintenance of blood flow and to the protection of the fine blood vessels up to the dermis.
Application:
Offer approx. 40 g per 100 kg body weight per dayĀ mixed with the crib feed.Ā Note: From this amount no additional mineralization is necessary.Ā Approx. 20 g per 100 kg of body weight per dayĀ are sufficient for supportive feedingĀ .
1 measuring cup corresponds to approx. 110 g
Feeding
instructions This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 4.6% of the daily ration (incl. hay) because of the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feed.Ā Please follow the feeding recommendations.
